Results: Operashon Street Legal

Good morning friends and followers. I think it's safe to change the name of Operashon Street Legal to Operation almost Clean Sweep for Aruba!!

Unlike Aruba's street legal events, in Curacao things are done a bit differently. In street legal events they run Street Car, Street Bike, Heavy Bracket Box, Heavy Bracket No-Box. Here are the results and highlights.

For the Street Bracket category we have Otmar Conradus as champion and Trevor Isenia as runner-up, both drivers from Curacao.
Heavy Bracket Box we have Kedy Koolman as champion and Eldrick Panneflek as runner-up, both from Aruba.
Heavy Bracket No-Box we have Jobert Reyes as champion and Jeritza Jansen as runner-up, both also from Aruba.
Street Bike category we have Berty Kock from Aruba as champion and Cleo Soerka from Curacao as runner-up.

So there y'all have it, judge for yourselves!!
ARUBA ARIBA!!!

Another highlight were the boys from Cosa Nostra Racing. They established a new Personal Best with their Street Turbo Supra, with a 9.35 ET @ 152 mph. Now that is what we call HAULING ASS!!!!

We would also like to remark that Kedy Koolman, champion Box category, was defeated in the first round of eliminations. But as we mentioned yesterday, a new "re-entry" rule was introduced. By paying double the amount of  the registration fee, Kedy re entered in the 2nd round and the rest was history!!!

Yesterday was also the first time that Jr. Dragsters raced on Rondeclip Curacao. A total of 4 jr dragsters battled for the title as Christine Fingal was defeated by Leendrick Lacle in the finals.

PapoRacingTeam would like to congratulate Jordan Freitas and his Crew for their amazing job putting together this Street Legal event, or as we saw it, this MEGA EVENT. We definitely had a blast!!! keep in mind, they only had one month to do all the preperations, collecting sponsors and most important of all, 1 month to do all the promotion. This is only the first of seven street legal event for 2012, so there will be more!!

We would also like to thank RPM Aruba and Steven Geerman for pictures.
