From DragFest to FoodFest!

Good afternoon PapoRacing fans, friends and followers. It's becoming more and more a tradition for us to visit the annual International Food & Family Festival at Rust & Burgh!

More than 50 stands create a banquet of international and local cuisine and native beverages. Live entertainment is highlighted by local and international dance groups, fashion shows, bands, DJs and childrens playground.

We didn't waste any time and went straight to the Tandoori Heights stand, an authentic Indian Restaurant. we ordered Fish and Chicken Tandoori with Basmati rice, Pita bread and Samosa. It sure is something that you don't eat regularly and especially not for that price.

We found a nice shady spot under the huge trees right next to the main stage. Their is nothing better than to sit on the cool breeze, having lunch and enjoying some children's entertainment. After that it was desert time. After waiting a whole year, it was time for Cake, but not any ordinary cake, cake from Carusel di Bolo!

It sure was fun to visit this Festival again after a year. It will be open again tomorrow May 1st, so you cannot miss it!!

And now we rest and prepare for the 2nd day of racing. See you at the track!!
