As we've already told you, the Acevedo Racing Celica confronted engine problems in Wednesday's Test&Tune session. Yesterday the crew worked hard on the engine, and got her fixed and ready for the first official Race Day on Friday. But bad luck has struck the Acevedo Racing Celica again yesterday, when Darcy shifted into 3rd gear and this time again, it blew out the head-gasket. Totally baffled, the crew headed to "Garage di Flaco" with the Celica at 2 o'clock Saturday morning to sort out the problem. Again they found that the head-gasket blew out precisely the same way as it did on Wednesday. Lots of heads were being scratched as they tried to figure out what the problem could be. After about an hour, some suggestions were made and the ball started to roll. Let's hope they found a solution to this problem and we can all see this red Celica make its 7sec passes on Saturday night.

El Bacatran Rx-7 also came in late last nite (early this morning) to do some work on the front bumper.
