Everything began running smoothly on Wednesday night. Cars and bikes were unloaded, and prepared to make some test runs. Allot of drivers and riders took the opportunity to make some test passes, some where successful and of course there where some mishaps. Team J&R made an impressive 8.04 ET pass with there turbocharged SRAD. There was a mishap on the track, when a 3S powered FWD Tercel lost control at half track and steered right into the wall. Luckily the driver was not injured. Jean-Carlos Ras and his SR20 powered Datsun made its first passes with the new engine setup and it’s looking good.
Baby Turbo made a tremendous 60ft launch of .904 sec.
Darcy Franken went down the track with the Acevedo Celica, but had some engine problems.
Franse Pass Connection Corolla made some full track passes but couldn't quite keep it in the groove.
Team#2 Delirium Racing arrived with style and unloaded there 6 import cars infront of a huge crowd.
But after all of this goodness, it started raining, and the fun came to and end. We should give two thumbs up for Big Joe Racing for a successful Test & Tune night and make sure you don't miss Friday and Saturday night.
