What's happening Friends and Followers?? It's been a while but I'm back and believe me, it's worth the wait.
I got a couple of HOT News for y'all so sit back and HOLD ON TIGHT!!
Today Facebook was flooded with questions on the whereabouts of the EX - Delirium2 Rx8. The reason being is that this awesome Extreme Import was recently sold. And here's the thing, it was sold to a lucky new owner in the Dutch Caribbean.
So, who's the new owner? We did a little bit of sniffing around and the only thing we can confirm is that the car was sold "TURN KEY" and race ready. The car is still in the US and will remain there for now. The new owner will be heading to the US to take a closer look at his new car and do some testing. They will be running this car for the first time at the World Sport Compact Challenge at Orlando in October 2012. All other info we couldn't confirm and until then, we will not release any info about the new owner and others related to the car.
Now for some local Aruban drag news. For a while now we've been following two awesome projects at two different garages.
The first one is no stranger to the import racing world in Aruba. We are talking about the Vick Racing Starlet. Yes sir!!
This car is getting a whole new make over and it's been put on a diet!! The New Vick Racing Starlet is getting a whole new 3/4 mild steel chassis by our good friend Ramon Coffy at CafeLoco RaceCars & Chassis. And this car is a real beauty.
The power train setup will remain basically the same which is 2RZ Turbo. So watch out for the New Vick Racing Starlet for it debut at the One Cool Summer end of August.
About that other build. It may not be news for some of you, but for others it will be. This project was for sale a couple of months ago. After talking to the owner for a long time, he decided to continue with the project and now it is almost finished.
We are talking about this beautiful 3/4 Chassis Toyota Paseo of Errold Ridderstap. This car has been in the making for a couple of years now.
It will be powered by a turbocharged Toyota Tacoma 2RZ engine.
We talked to the owner Errold and he told us that they are making a huge effort to debut the car at the One Cool Summer races this year.
Stay tuned because we will have more info on all these three items and as soon as we get confirmation we will release them.
