Napa 300 Open Invitational 2012

Update: 18 May 2012 - 14:30

We headed to the track to find the CRCCDA crew working tirelessly in the scorching sun to finnish up the last details for what's going to be an exciting weekend.

There we found guests from Aruba already setting up their machines to the track, also some local racers fine tuning and making last minute changes to their cars.

Here are more pictures of the track and activities ongoing. Be there tomorrow, action starts at 10:00 am  with qualifying. So see you there at the Waaigat parking lot, Punda!

It's been busy for the Papo Racing crew, working on event posters, t-shirt designs and making sure you get all the information on the latest events in both Aruba and Curacao. We'll switch over to another form of racing, ladies and gentleman we give you the biggest R/C event in the Caribbean...the 13th Annual NAPA 300 OPEN INVITATIONAL 2012.

As aspected, this year again the team from CRCCDA is hosting the anual Open Invitational - NAPA 300. This year the NAPA 300 Open Invitational will be held on Thursday May 17 through Sunday May the 20th.

If you're in Curacao we suggest you attend these races and experience the speed and thrill only R/C racing can provide. Watch these 1/10 and 1/8 scale cars scream down the straight-away and reach speeds over 60 MPHs. Folks, that's nearly 100 Km/h side by side through narrow corners. You'll have to see it to believe it!

Papo Racing Team is also preparing for this weekend's race, competing in 2 classes: 1/10 Touring car Electric and GTP Electric. We're facing some tough competition from Aruba, Trinidad & Tobago and not to forget the local  CRCCDA drivers.

So there you have it, we invite you to join in on the fun and excitement this weekend, 19th and 20th of May 2012 at the Waaigat parking lot in front of The Movies Punda, starting at 10:00 am.

Please visit: www.CRCCDA.com for more information and details.
