The Pistons' worst Nightmare!

When PapoRacing first heard that Humphrey Kock from Nightmare Racing (ex Demente Racing) bought a 20B 3Rotor engine to put in his Pro RWD Rx8, we asked ourselves, "Is he really Demented?". Well, we can now tell you this, "He's a GENIUS!". Power to Weight ratio is the name of the game here, with the lightweight fiberglass body and full chromoly chassis, this car doesn't need all the power in the world to be fast. This bone-stock 20B will be more than enough for now.

We were on site as the guys at Nightmare Racing Garage started the engine up for the first time. Smiles were ear to ear, because now they can be sure that they have a well working engine. Plans are to keep this 20B stock for the moment, running it with a Turbo and on racing fuel. To our knowledge this is the first 20B engine ever to be installed in a car on Aruba. This makes it more challenging to get it tuned correctly and running perfectly, but the team is up for the challenge.

This week, a Tuner from the U.S. will be on the island to work on some his client's cars, and this RX-8 would be on of them. You know we will be there with our camera to bring you all the latest.

Papo Racing Team wishes Nightmare Racing the best of luck, and hope to see good solid performance out of this RX-8 with its 20B heart.

Some pictures for you to enjoy.

The Chromoly Chassis was recently certified 6.00sec & slower.
