We spoke to Mr. Julien Paula, owner of the Mr. Brain RX7 rotary import race car. With a three (3) year absence, preparations are being made to bring this rotary back to life.

In 2006 Mr. Brain competed in the One Cool Summer event @ Int'l Raceway Park Palo Marga, but confronted handling problems, which pulled the car to the wall. Once in Curacao, the team would finally fix this occurrence and aid stability.

In 2007 Julien competed in the Queens Day international race event @ Ronde Klip Int'l Raceway in Curacao in two categories (BOX & Import class). Electrical problems ended the race for the team in the import class. In BOX category, with a hefty Nafl. 20.000 winner's prize, Mr. Brain ran 5 to 6 passes close to its 9.90 dial-in, eliminating fierce racers along the way. A shifter lever spoiled the evening for Julien and the RX7, which made it all the way to the semi final rounds.

For 2011: the chassis was modified by KIKE and passed IHRA chassis certification for 6.0 seconds this year during the April races.
