Update: too much power?

Not really...Everything was set for Saturday's drag racing event at Ronde Klip International Raceway and for Ryan Simoons' RYSO-TECH Starlet.

After heavy modifications to rear end, it was time to test and see the awesome turbo 2RZ in action!

The first pass:
Lazy 60ft (1.44s), short shifting gears, LOW BOOST, lifting off @ 3/4 track...
9.59ET @ 133MPH, again a very mild pass to put it through its paces!

Second pass:
DISASTER! Power sent to wheels shaved 8 teeth of the Richmond ring & pinion. Take a look for yourself:

So there you have it, back to the drawing board (actually the parts brochure)...but he'll be back, for sure!!!
