Turtles go South for the Winter

Our friends Francis "FranZy" Rosel and Mr. Tico Croes at Viva Speed Shop are doing some major changes to this Chevy Corvette named "La Tortuga". Their goal is to ship this car to Venezuela in the coming weeks, to participate at various Drag Racing events, one of them being in mid November at Piques 1/4 millas Turagua.

Now packing a Supercharged Chevy 350ci stroked to 383ci. Rated at 1200hp, I'm sure that this "Turtle" will be the talk of the town and will be getting lots of attention.

Due to all that new power, some modifications are being done to the chassis and of course it's all done in-house.

Oooh yes, Francis has got a new toy and he's been practicing and sharpening his TIG-welding skills and he sure is a fast learner.

They are planning to keep "La Tortuga" in Venezuela for future Drag Racing events.

PapoRacingTeam wishes Francis, Tico and the whole Viva Team lots of luck in Venezuela and we are sure that they will put Aruba's name on the top spot!!

Another short block, to be built and will power another car in Venezuela.

Mr. Tico Croes doing  "research" on Facebook.

"La Tortuga" is already registered and ready for action.

NOS setup, IF NEEDED!!
