Update: Open Invitational XV 2014

We got more exciting news in connection with the biggest R/C event in the Caribbean.

This one's a biggie...the CRCCDA organization voted to include the fastest growing category in R/C at the moment...

That's right, the 15th Annual Napa 300 Open Invitational 2015 will now feature the 1/8 GT gas class!

It's official, everything is set and ready. The CRCCDA will...

..now host the biggest RC action in the Caribbean, which will now feature 5 categories, including;

1/10 GTP electric

1/10 TC electric

1/10 TC gas

1/8 LMP gas 

...and for the first time, 1/8 GT gas

CRCCDA's website was updated with the ruling for the new added category and also the race registration was modified to allow racers to register for the new category!

Its easy driving characteristic, toughness and low budget made the 1/8 GT class to become very popular in a short period, these are nothing more than 1/8 gas buggies modified to run on-road...

Everything looks right on these cars, their wheel size to body proportions are insane, the amount of body roll looks real, even their relatively low speeds is a plus, for it ensures quality, close racing...we're getting excited just writing about it!!

We are now hearing about racers in Germany wanting to attend this year's Open Invitational XV, even people from Argentina are interested, asking for more information, Jamaica and Puerto Rico is also pending, we already got confirmation from Aruba, Trinidad and Tobago and the US.
