Papo Racing News: Aruba ONE COOL SUMMER: Iron Man Classic 2013

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's racing time all over again!!

Hi fans and friends, after a long vacation, we're back and ready to experience the biggest drag racing event for a while now, the Aruba One Cool Summer - Iron Man Classic presented by Don Flip Racing Organization and Budweiser.

This action packed event will be full of exciting categories, plenty of high performance racing machines and pretty faces. The action will kick-off Friday, 9 August and continue Saturday, 10 August 2013 at the Int'l Raceway Park Palo Marga - Aruba. We're

...excited already!!!

Ok, let's start off with the categories. We counted a total of 10, that's right TEN categories for this event including.
- Box
- No Box
- Jr. Dragster
- Fast Imports

- Import Class
- Monster Outlaw FWD

- Monster Criollo Outlaw Bike
- Pro Bike

- Some exhibition runs by the No Bull Motorsports Top Dragsters

...and don't forget about the main attraction: TOP SPORTSMAN.

There's no excuse to miss this, an action packed weekend filled with bracket and heads up races with cars and bikes from Aruba, USA, Puerto Rico, Curacao, Bonaire and Venezuela.

EVERYTHING IS ALL SET!!!

All cars from abroad are already in Aruba, waiting anxiously at the track for 1/4 racing action. Here are some pictures of the cars from Puerto Rico:

One category that'll sure make an impact is the newly created "Monster Outlaw FWD". There's plenty of reaction on the web about this exciting category - we'll just have to wait and see who's got the baddest FWD at the event, here's some pictures found on facebook:

Are you a bike lover, here's what in store for you; Monster Criollo Outlaw Bikes, running mid 7's all night long!! They too run heads-up, pro lights....goosebumps anyone?

Chip Ellis has yet to make a 6 second pass, on the Da Silva bike, will we see this historic feat?!

There will be a field of 8 PSMs, you cannot miss this!

And the main attraction, the battle of the 7 second index racers - running in excess of 180mph...

Both ex- pro stock vehicles, will now race against each other with break-out rules enforced in a field of about 10 vehicles from Aruba and Puerto Rico, can we say that ARUBA DOES IT BETTER....we'll see!

Now to get into the PRETTY FACES at the RACES, we'll have North Carolina Top Sportsman racer Lizzy Musi with her Dad Pat Musi, a couple of drivers from Puerto Rico and also local bombshells at the event:

In this weekend we'll also see the finals of the IHRA Summit Series of the BOX and NO-BOX categories.
